Shameless Bragging

I hope I will be forgiven for bragging but my new publisher just put up the web page for my book. This is my first professionally published novel. The same book has been available in a self-published version for a long time but the editing and printing of this version is much better. I don't really expect anyone here to buy but I just had to share it with my friends here.

Congratulations! What age group is this considered suitable for?

Elrond 2010-10-25 18:55:45 -0500 Report

As far as age groups, the whole series of books are aimed at Baby Boomers but while there are erotic scenes, I stopped very short of pornography. You won't find graphic sex or a single word in any of my books that you wouldn't hear in church. There are many references to popular entertainers, books, and movies of the 50's and 60's that might 'sail right over' the heads of younger people but I believe they would enjoy the story anyway.

That's fantastic Elrond! You have a real publisher too. Very good! I used amazon's self publishing service. A real publisher sounds like a great idea. I hope you have great success.

Kirk James . . . anything like the other one?
Or is he the other one?
Never cared for Kirk, but Scotty I loved from the start.
Best wishes in your writing.

That is Fantastic!! Go ahead and be shameless, sharing successes are so very welcome here. You might be surprised how many si-fi fans are here. I know when I had my story published in a Christmas book last year, many here showed me great support. This is just the go Elrond.

I must have had a brain fart, and forgot you were a writer. Congrats. I have also written a few things, but never published. (Except here.) I enjoy science fiction. (If you haven't noticed)
Time to put the kiddies to bed. Yes we tuck them into bed.
Before I close, are you doing ok? Last time we talked you didn't sound so good.
I worry. (does that make me a Yenta?)
Be well.

Hey, I am doing much better, thank you. I think the culmination of things just got really heavy. I have shaken much of it off and am getting back to my normal self...well, that might not be the best thing either, but it's me! LOL

Jem & I had a saying when things would change a bit, and then stayed that way: "We've hit a 'new normal'".
