Have you all heard about the new ad campaign trying to convince consumers that High Fructose Corn Syrup is not bad for your health after all? Very misleading!

HFCS is indeed very bad for your health, and should be avoided. See my post today on the topic at:

Remember "New Coke". The primary change was to add HFCS instead of Sugar.
There are studies in La., Texas and Mexico to try and figure out why there ia such an epidemic of Type II among all ethnic types. It appears that the difference in diet is: Fast Food instead of home cooked meals (beans, rice, caldo); Agua Frescas (natural Fruit soft drinks with sugar, Milk, and even Kool Aid with Sugar) vs. HFCS Sodas; and flour tortillas vs. ground corn tortillas.
AND not just Hispanics, but Blacks and Anglos!

OMG! you have GOT to be kidding!

Why do these companies continue to operate? Why do we sell FDA approved toxins in our foods? Why do we talk out of both sides of our mouths? The ad on your site is just unbeliveable.

Thanks for the break down of where to find HFCS. This is one of the main reasons, we don't eat any more processed foods. If we do, we look really closely at the entire ingredient list. The other thing that is so FAKED is trans fats.

Sometimes it feels like the Govenment approves this behavior beause they just want to kill off as many as they can. Our survival is truning to be the survival of the "richest" who can afford to not HAVE to make poor food choices because they are cheap enough to feed the family. When a bag of cookies is 2 for $5 and 3 apples cost the same, what are the poorer folks going to choose... and we wonder why we have such an epidemic...good grief!
