How many times during the course of a day do you test your blood glucose level, and what type of diabetic are you? (Type 1, or Type 2)

I have been a Type 1 for 42+ years…a pumper for 10 years and usually test 4-6 times per day…more often if needed based on test results or highs/lows.

ME is a type one for about 35 years now and test from 4 to 10 times a day depending on how high or low I am. I can go as low as 18 without feeling it or as high as 800 and still not feel it. I drive my dr's and nurses crazy got to love messing with them :)

I am a type 1 diabetic and I test at least 4 times daily. (fasting/before breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bedtime.) If I'm sick I will test up to 7 times a day.

I'm a type 2 and I test 4 to 6 times a days. I have friends that are type 2 and their doctor tells them to test 2 times every 2 weeks. How can you control your diabetes like that?
