i have been diagnosed of having type 2 diabetes and i am still in denial…my ac1 scores are always good…therefore i don't feel i have diabetes. My doctor increased my metformin to 800 mg…i was on 500 mg once a day…what do you think?

Sometimes what we view as good is not in reality. Plus, there are so many other factors in your lipid panel. The A1c is not the only thing to look at. What kind of meter testing do you do? Did you ask him why he increased the metformin? You do know you can challenge a change if you don't understand why they are doing it.
