Hi:
I had an article about cinnamon in water to help control diabetes, but cannot locate it. Has anyone else heard of this. If so, can you tell me how much to use. Thanks so much for your inmput.

I just started about a month ago using cinnamon and a spoonful of unsweetened applesauce in my oatmeal. Don't know if it helps yet or not, but it certainly tastes good!

I have type 2 diabetes (for almost 20 years now) and use 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon every morning and have for many years and I feel that it helped me control my diabetes with diet and exercise keeping me from any medication until the last two years.

I have read that about 1/2 - 1 tsp a day of cinnamon in your cereal, or decaf coffee or even oatmeal helps drop your bs. as well as Aloe Vera. one 1 tsp everyday helps your health alot, and in Arabia they use Aloe Vera and Cactus (nopales) instead of insulin.

I have added it to my supplements and I find that it may have helped in significant dropping my BG readings! But then, I am doing many other things in an attempt to improve those readings. I am probably in what USED to be a prediabetic range, though. They lowered the fasting reading for diagnoses from 140 to 125, so they catch things earlier these days. I suppose this is due to diabetes being on the rise. I personally think everything you can do, you should do to improve the readings.

I use it almost everyday, Especially if my BS is a little high in the morning I always add it to my coffee and oatmeal. It seems to work for me.

I heard a shot a day also helps with blood pressure. My cousins hubby in Fla takes a shot every night and he is not on meds now. I have not done it now but I think I may because it seems to have a few benefits to it.
