Well tomorrow will be 1 full month since I had to take any insulin, all because of the alkaline water.. I drink about 3 large glasses a day an make my coffee with it an use a little sugar for taste.. The highest my numbers have been is 180 an that was for 1/2 hr an it dropped to 155 with in 1/2hr after drinking a full glass when I saw the reading… Just thought you all would like to see the results…

I'm fortunate to live near a natural artesian alkaline well that sells its water. Definitely a difference from mechanically processed.

Individuals differ. If it works for you - great! It's an interesting theory anyway. Worth a try if you are into the neuropathy stage.

Well it is helping to keep the number down. range is 85 to 155 an watching what I eat, my problem is I have to take A,B,C blockers for high blood pressure an the channel blocker makes you store more water in the legs. But the neuropathy is staying some what under control an I still have feeling in the feet, biggist problem is keeping blood flow going like it should to the feet…

I hate to be a downer on this, but both of those numbers (180 and 155) scare the hell out of me. I never go over 125 tops; and if you do online research on the medical websites you will see that they are now saying diabetic damage to the body occurs at anytime you are over 140.

Then I would say Skip that you are a type 3.. When you eat your BS will spike up an it can go over 160 for a short period of time…Also if you look at those Medical sites you will find that the pill company payed for the post. All the Doc`s that I have seen say that you have to stay between 80 an 160, they want it around 120 or less but when the pancrese an liver is not working right your numbers will be all over. I have had 2 major operations an the chemicals they used to put me out is the cause of my being a diabetic, but the medical companys dont tell the people of the side afects that can happen.. or what the chemical perservitives in your foods do to you… like now I cant take station drugs but I used to… The fact is if we can keep the number under 160 an llower we are doing great, other wise they give you more drugs an it cost a lot more money…

I would disagree with that. There is a lot of evidence that 160 will cause permanent organ damage and that most people without diabetes will be in the 80-100 range for most of the time. Lower blood sugar does not have to mean more pills. I would also say that the 180 to 155 in half an hour is not really any sort of proof of anything. Home meters are not very accurate so you could quite easily seen a 180 and a 155 from the same spot of blood.

Honestly, I don't see how chemically alkaline water can do anything. Within seconds of drinking it the acid in your stomach will neutralize the alkalinity. The best test would be to stop drinking it completely for a couple of weeks, replace the amounts you are drinking now with tap water and see if your numbers increase. If they do then there must be something to it, if they don't then it's just a waste of money.

Well that as it may if I wasnt drinking it I would have to be on isulin as I was before.. Also the feeling in my feet is coming back, I can now feel my shoes an small rocks that I have picked up walking in the my flipflops, which I could not do a month ago.. My average for the month in my Bs at 130 an I test 3 times a day. So something is working.. an its a lot better than have it spike to 220 or more so think what you want for I will still stay on the water for more results for so far it is working for me an my friend who has been on it for a year has gotten the feelings back in his feet when he had none. So something is working…

If you look in the phone book for Water Shops that sells pure water or filltered an most sell Alkaline water, here in Vegas they sell it for $1.50 a gal. an its at 9.5ph level, if you store it at room temp its only good at that level for 48hr but if you store it in the frig it will stay strong for over a week.. My family drinks about 11/2gal a day now plus I make my coffee with it an it takes the bitterness out of the taste… I suggest you go on line an read about an it see what you think.. The Japanese discovered how to make it about 40 yrs ago an they sure needed clean water out in the country… Go to an read whats there…
