Hello Lena,
I am presuming you are wondering what the symptoms for diabetes are. Type 1 and type 2 have some differences, but here are some basic ones.

Urinating frequently is a typical one
Sometimes our skin gets dry, but I am not sure that is a typical symptom
Headaches are common when our sugars are high
Dizziness is also a common symptom
Sudden weight changes can be a sign, specially sudden weight loss
Blurry vision can be a clue
Being thirsty all the time and drinking a lot of fluids is a big sign your levels are high
Excessive mood swings are also a red flag

There are more, but these are some basic ones. If you suspect you are diabetic, please make an appointment with your doctor to have some lab work done. That is where you can find out for sure.

Thank you so much I don't have any insurance, but I will take your advice @ seeing a doctor. My mom has diabetes, and she is now on insulin

Weight gain and type 1 diabetes onset are counterintuitive. As a type 1 I lost 30 pounds from excessive urination before my diagnosis. Some type 2s also will lose weight before diagnosis. Some women let their sugars run high just so they won't gain weight. Getting an A1C will tell you your average blood sugar these past 30 days. If you are at 6.0 or higher then you need to work with a doctor to find out why your average glucose is higher than normal.
