I been on the Metanx now for a year and it has help my feet but the Metanx is very costly. My insurance will not paid for it but it is worth the money I paid out to stop my feet from hurting.

is this something you must continue taking, or can you stop taking it once your feet stop hurting?

I take it every day. My foot doctor and my Neurology said there is no generic for Metanx and so did Walmart where I get it at.

Hadn't heard of Metanx. I googled it and there were 2 things listed. 1 was a neutraceutical food, the other was the medication. Since you mentioned the medication, I chose that. Here's an article on this from WebMD http://www.webmd.com/drugs/drug-92562-METANX+... Here's a number of reviews of the drug, also from WebMD ranging over various uses: http://www.webmd.com/drugs/drugreview-92562-M... Notice on one of the reviews there is a generic version of the metanx for $5.00 mo mentioned versus $40.00 mo for the non-generic version.

Never heard of this one! Currently on Lyrica 150mg 3x/day…just takes the edge off…NOT the "Miracle Drug" promised to be (at least for me).

Me neither until I joined this site. There is a link on this site for it.
Here is a link from google.

I have neuropathy in my feet & maybe in my hands. Probably/possibly a combination of diabetic & alcoholic. In my hands it might be a combo of carpel tunnel and neuropathy.

I need something.
