I am a retired Chef and would love to input what I have done to control my type 2 diabeties. I may also be able to help some people on their diets. Give people ideas on how to prepare the foods differently so you may follow a closer budget. I JUST WANT TO HELP!!!!! This is a way I can cope with this illness.

In another discussion you mentioned that you spend only $250 a month to feed your family of 4! I would love to know how you do that. I feed 4 adults, so that is different than kids, but I spend about twice that amount. What is your secret?

Thank you;
this is another wonderful idea for helping others. I have searced for ways to supress my deep depression. Helping others works for me better than anything else. Thank you for more ideas.

Oh my goodness I would love help! I make the same thing all the time and I am positive my boyfriend is getting tired of it too. He loves meatloaf but I cannot find a recipe that sounds good and is safe for me to eat. They have a recipe tab on this site and you can submit recipes and nutrition facts as well. :]

Best of Wishes and Thanks for wanting to help

Excellent! Welcome to the site. I have a question. If I roast a red bell pepper, without adding anything at all, it tastes much, much sweeter, but please tell me it roasting doesn't add carbs to one of my favorite vegetables?
