Why is it so hard for women to lose weight? My husband has lost over 60 pounds by riding his bike and not eating as much. Thats too easy. I've tried and tried, but nothing I do seems to work. Eating less, exercise, nothing works, and then I get depressed and give up. Do I sound like a broken tape machine (remember those). Maybe I'm just . . . I don't know. . . expecting to much.

losing weight was never so easy; you should expect things to become gradually; you cannot lose all the weight you want in a short period; but what is most important; is to enjoy what you are doing; the exercise, the diet, even the craving moments. it is very important to trust yourself and your abilities now and to love yourself; try this and you see that loosing weight will become much easier because you will be doing it for your own reasons, because you like to do it, and not because you are pressured by others

Womens' bodies are made differently and we are geared to keep some fat on us, as we are to be ready to take care of two at times. It is natures way of keeping us ready for babies. However, now we do so much less and eat so much more processed foods that our tendencies get out of control.

One thing that helped me a lot was to get rid of more of the processed foods. Once I started eating raw whole foods, it was easier to loose weight. It still takes a lot of effort and exercise and watching...but whole foods help a lot for me.
