Today I was killing time between my classes so i decided to go to the hersey store on mich av in chicago (lol good place for a diabetic right) but i found sugar free twizzlers, and they do not taste any different. But they still have carbs so be cautious.

Unfortunately, the carbs come from corn starch. That is what gives them their non-stick twistiness! What are they sweetened with?

For my chocolate tastes (occasionally) I have Atkins bars that are only 2 g net carbs. I usually find the sugar free versions of favorite candies are even higher in carbs than the originals because of the starch/flour contents. I don't get the taste for chocolate as much as cinnamon for which I turn to the Atkins bars or Jello Sugar Free Cinnamon Pudding.

Those twizzlers are my addiction since being diagnosed 3 weeks ago. CVS also carries them. My 14 yr old daughter loves the Hershey sugar free syrup. She couldn't believe it was SF.

Never been a big candy eater, turned out I was allergic to chocolate always wondered why when I ate a candy bar I was sick about 20 minutes later! I will pass this on to my daughter though!
