Hello I have a really silly question…My meter broke yesterday and sadly I have no money or insurance to beable to get a new on and also I have enough of my insulin to last me till monday! What should I do? I have even started tryin to sleep alot so that way I dont have to take my meds? Am I messing up? What should I do?

just read your msg. If you still need a meter try True test. It snaps on the the bottle of test strips, and small enough to fit in a purse. Walgreens carried it for $9.95 with 10 strips.

You can call the number on the back of your meter and they should be able to send a replacement free of charge to you. Mine did. Try that and see if that helps.

Hi Cari, for your insulin try your health dept. in your state tell them your problem they should help you out.

I got the Freestyle meter from Abbott yesterday. It was absolutely free for signing that I would use it for 3 years and buy test strips. I love it! it is really easy to use and they say that the co-pay for strips will only be about $15.
