Does anyone have any information and/or thoughts on the effect of stress on glucose levels?

yes stress can affect your sugar. I am so streesed out because they can't find out what is wrong with me so right now I have Shingels. Yes stress can do a lot to your body.

In my personal experience the more stress the higher the numbers.
Its about making lifestyle changes that remove the stress or the
overeating do to stress.

Howdy Deeg a BIG WELCOME to you to our DC family!

In my experience stress does raise my BG#s I have just lost my bride (July 22) and my BG#s are just beginning to come back to acceptable levels.

Here is an article on "Stress and Diabetes" from medicinenet.com: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.as... and one from WebMD: http://diabetes.webmd.com/features/stress-dia...

These give the reasons why stress raises your BG#s

Blessings to you and yours
