Looking for meds help!
I live in Florida for about seven months now, and i can't find any help for my meds. I make very little money right now and can't afford 200 for one insulin, and i take two that cost that much. So does anyone know of any help i can get for my meds?

I've had to do this to help my dad with his meds when he was in this situation. Our doctor told us to check through the manufacture that it is made by and see if they have a program through them. Also, there are times where your doctor may be able to help you with samples as well. You also might try looking up your local Salvation Army and seeing if they have a similar program we have here for medications. target and Walmart are also offering prescription deals now. Best of wishes to you!
Don't know if this will help but you can try free rx prescriptions at 1-800-718-2121.

Tell your doctor. Most of the time they have resources or samples. They could also put you on a cheaper medicine. Speak Up!
If you have to get rowdy to get their attention - I used to hand the prescription right back to them and tell them to give it to somebody that could afford it. They put me on a 'sliding scale' to pay for all my meds, then about 3 years later, my insurance kicked in.
Good Luck!

AstraZeneca United States
What can a pharmaceutical company do to help people afford their medicines?
A lot!
At AstraZeneca, we believe it’s not enough for us to simply make medicines. We have to make sure that the people who need those medicines can get them. It’s why we’ve offered patient assistance programs for over 30 years.
If you are an individual making $30,000 or less or a family of four making $60,000 or less you may qualify for an AZ&Me™ Prescription Savings Program.
If you have a moment, you can find out now if you may be eligible for one of the AZ&Me Prescription Savings Programs.
