i know buy now everyone is tired of hearing about 9-11 butthis year means a little more to me. when my father died they burried him in his milatary gear i forgot what they call them. but it made me realized all the people that lost their lives;fighting for our freedom not onlyin the services but in life my mother and father;aunts and uncles that are over 65 and salute them too. even to you all here the things that you all went through i just can amagine the pain and the embarrasment,watching some one you love get beat and you could nothing.my heart goes out for those that suffered for a good cause if it weren't for you i wouldn't have the freedom i have and i love and salute you for it and you are my hero's. thank you to the police men; firefighter,doctors and nurses. one day the suffering will all be over. to all here have a happy labor day may GOD bless you all.

Thank you Mama Dee;
I needed the reminder. Not for 9-11, but that I and my husband DID NOT waste our time with our military careers. We did what belivied what we were given to do without screaming about unlawful orders, concious objections or any other bull. Between the two of us we had 26 years total time in service.
When we have gone for job interviews we have been asked why we wasted our time in the service, and had our resumes lost or destroyed. I never understood the hatred that was flung at us.
It is not why I served all those years. But, we did give all of us the right to do so.
Thank you Mama Dee.

We should never tire of honoring those who sacrificed for us. We should always thank those in uniform as we see them on the street or in the stores. I know when I started doing that, it made them feel good that I cared, but it also made me feel good to remember and be thankful.

Happy day shorty31,
This is a wonderful salute to the service people in the world. I am glad that you have mentioned more than one group. For there are so many that protect & serve us & for us. Be blessed & hopefully that as many read this we all will count our blessing & realize that we can't every stop they are really endless.

Happy day,
Now you know you can't please everyone. I believe that all that will read this will know that you did not mean to hurt anyone feeling but just wanted it to be known that this can be a wonderful acknowledgment.
