I know I should put this in the article section, but I didn't want you guys to miss this article on Kendall Simmons. He is a type 2 Starting Right Guard for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has a great story and there is also a great video about how he keeps his levels safe while pushing 300 pound men around on the field. I found it very inspiring, not so much that he does it, but his attitude about it.

I like dlife too. They have a lot of good information there. I like our discussions much better though. LOL

Thank you Ms. Gabby for sharing this with us. I love the fact that he has the support of his coaches and teammates. I'm finding that there are more family, friends, and colleagues who are understanding and supportive than not. When we become comfortable with taking care of our needs around others, then they feel more comfortable about being around us and about this disease.

That is so true. I also believe that it is carrying less and less a stigma now, so that helps too.
