As I've been browsing here and adding my 2 cents here and there I also was looking as some other stuff on-line and came across this site - talk about gastric suicide for any diabetic, high cholesterol, high BP — yikes!!!!!

Just thought I'd share this with y'all lol - - Just looking at some of the creations in this site was enough to make me shudder at the calorie, fat, sodium etc numbers.

I find that it helps me to check out a restaurant's website before I head there for dinner. Many of them have nutritional info available on their websites, so I can make my menu decisions BEFORE walking in there and smelling everything.

Cracker Barrel has become one of my favorites because they have a whole low carb menu and offer the carb counts. It makes it easy for days when I just don't want another salad. LOL

LOL!! yes, I would say Gastric Suicide fits the bill on that one! I think I would also add sugar shock. I am thinking of getting a couple of the "Eat This Not That" books. They are a great way to find some options.

I'm also getting some books on what to eat. My newest book is called what to eat with diabetes. I'm looking foward to reading it! Books can be a great tool in helping make good choics! :)
