Congratulations on the weight loss. I'd had hypoglycemia for many years before it finally went into diabetes. I had found a "health bar" in the health/wellness center at our local Wal-Mart that has really helped me - they are called "Clif Bars" and are all natural ingredients and even during the last 7 - 8 yrs since I've had to cut all processed sugars from my diet because they would actually cause my BG to drop dangerously low - these bars didn't do that and did help keep my BG levels closer to "normal" I've also found them at Kroger's and they have a lot better selection of flavors than Wal-Mart has.

I'd still suggest though that you do see your family doctor or some doctor about this. It can get dangerous if you are getting too low. My neuropathy started about 7 or 8 years ago when I was having a lot of problems with my BG being too low for extended periods of time (sometimes into the low 20's for days on end). A specialist my doctor referred me to told my that my hypoglycemia had gone into "critical" stage and to really watch it as it most probably would go into diabetes (which it has). He's the one that suggested I look for something like the Clif Bars to carry with me at all times when I'm away from home so if I feel like my BG is dropping I can boost it a bit with one of those until I can get something more substantial to eat.

The only other thing I can tell you is that when I had been told my BG was low like that to eat more meals a day, but smaller ones. It was recommended that I try eating like I would feed a premie babe - about every 2 - 3 hrs but small amounts at any one time. Break the day's food allotment/allowance between about 5 - 10 small meals. I didn't really follow that well as it was too hard to do when I was still able to work. Have gone back to close to that though the last year or so. One thing I really need to do with that is carefully watch my portion control as they have a tendency to grow on me over time LOL

Good luck with finding something to help you —- Hugs
