Well we kind of need a little more information about what you are doing now. I see that you are Type 2 and diet is of interest to you. Have you met with your doctor to discuss a treatment plan that you both can agree upon? If diet is your goal, then a meeting with a dietitian is a GREAT place to start or at the very least, learn a bit about carbohydrates and how they raise your sugar levels. Here are a couple of my favorite videos on the subject of carb counting.

Diabetes management is not a one size fits all package. Some diabetics are able to manage their numbers with diet, exercise, medication, or a combination of the bag of tricks. What works for one person won't work for another. You need to let your meter and your doctor be your friend with frequent testing, keeping a diet and exercise journal but also you can get a lot of emotional support and information from us. What an awesome group of people here!!! If I can help in any way, please let me know. Management is not an overnight thing and may take time and a combination of successes and failures to know what works and what doesn't.
