Have 3 specialist who cant find out what is wrong with me. One of them keeps sending me to have my gallblader taken out and 3 Dr. said don't need to because all the tests show my gallblader is ok. My Internist tells it could be bad even if the test say its ok. Since last October this 3 specialist are trying to find out what is wrong with me no luck. The last one told me get regular and you will be find. I was so shoked I couldn't answer him.
Now I am reading about mold to which you could have symptons like acid reflux which this Dr. treating me for but not sure if I have also my mouth burns all day. Don't know were to turn or what to do. I am ready just to have my gallblader taken out hoping it would fix everything. Have burning from my abdomen into my chest in may lower back is the worst spot.
I saw somebody hear talking about taken out there gallblader. Just would like to know what the reason was.

Had problems off and on for 26 years. Finally had Gall Bladder removed last summer. Symptoms are gone, Blood Pressure normal AND Sugar levels are GREAT! A1C was 4 last test and have been below 5 since the operation. It's usually an out-patient op and recocery is quick. The Gall Bladder is used to store bile that the liver has produced until needed. Then the liver squeezes and it squirts out into your stomach, that's the way my Dr described it. She says its not really needed except for storage and we can live just fine without it also that lowering sugar levels are to be expected afterwards. Get a 4th opinion if it is needed. Keep asking until YOU feel confortable with YOUR decision.

I had my gall removed years ago but I got violently sick after I ate. They told me a stone would get stuck in the duct that adds acid to the stomach & I got really ill.

My mom had undertermined burning & pain on her back for months before she broke out it a rash showing shingles.

I have pelvic pain and have seen 14 doctors with no relief, & I've allowed 4 surgeires each time with the hope of relief, after surgery, I had adhesions & needed another surgery, so really think it through, you're the one that has to live with the results.

P.S I'm glad I had my gall bladder removed.

Just from what your comment said about the burning in your abdomen and the pain in your lower back, I can safely assume that it is your gallbladder. I had the same symptoms and was told I had an ulcer a year ago. In June the pain was so bad that I went to the ER. They did a sonogram and found I had a diseased gallbladder with 2 stones the size of ping pong balls. The surgery was easy with 3 small incisions and I was out in 24 hours. I hope this helps and that you find some relief.

I asked my Dr. for a sonogram but was told the CT scan of my abdomen that we did was an even better test and it showed nothing. I am sking for some bloodtests.

It took a long time for the doctors to figure out that my mom needed to have her gallbladder removed. But when they figured it out it was a definite thing. I know it must be really troubling to you that your doctors are so indecisive about what is wrong. She doesn't remember if she had a burning sensation or not but I know she had a lot of abdominal pain that could not be explained. I believe her gallstones were finally seen on an ultrasound image of her abdominal area. Below is the link to a recent gallbladder discussion here on DC that you might have been referring to.

Best of luck to you and God Bless!

For me my gallbladder problems are hereditary, my Grandmother, Aunt, 2 Uncials, my Father, and it likes the dark headed granddaughters, three of us have had ours removed. We thought that was what my problem was at age14; it was officially diagnosed at 28, and removed at 46. And mine was removed because of a very large stone; Luwitch was detected by a sonogram. And there can still be problems even after having the gallbladder removed as well as new ones. I still do. The stone was the reason for the removal.
Good Luck
