I'm a 30 yr. old mother of 3 kids. I'm pregnant with my 4th child. This gestational Diabetes is really hard for me, as I have huge cravings and no outlet. I'm banned from most breads, pastas, and rices. My cravings are Spaghetti, chinese fried rice, pumpernickel with pickles, and cheese. I indulge in Dubliner, and sometimes I cry because I don't indulge in these foods. I don't want to be apart of the wah-mbulance but my hormones and intense cravings make this pregnancy miserable.

Welcome to the Diabetic Connect Family !

From everything that I have read on Gestational Diabetes, I can only imagine, but never fully grasp, what a mother to be who has it is actually experiencing daily.

Hopefully this information listed below can be helpful to you and others:

Be good to yourself and your unborn child during your pregnancy, keep your doctors appointments and follow your doctors instructions.
Life is a gift that only a mother can give, but all can cherish !
