I'm a 30 yr. old mother of 3 kids. I'm pregnant with my 4th child. This gestational Diabetes is really hard for me, as I have huge cravings and no outlet. I'm banned from most breads, pastas, and rices. My cravings are Spaghetti, chinese fried rice, pumpernickel with pickles, and cheese. I indulge in Dubliner, and sometimes I cry because I don't indulge in these foods. I don't want to be apart of the wah-mbulance but my hormones and intense cravings make this pregnancy miserable.

Pump? I don't know what that means, but I'm on 10mg. of Glyburide 2x's a day on the 8's a/pm. I test my blood once in the morning and then every 2 hours after each main meal. I'm allowed 2 snacks and each meal is 2 servings or less of Carbs. My snacks are 1 serving or none. I can eat all the greens I want, but don't feel satisfied, I also have a sciatic nerve condition in my right hip from the pressure from the baby, which makes walking close to impossible on some days. All my pre-natal yoga and stretching helps but I feel as if I am in between a rock and a hard place.

If you were on the pump you would be able to have some but still not all you would like.
Are you on insulin?
Best wishes
