I am soooo busy with 3 boys all playing football. It is sooo hard to eat right, which I have been trying to do to help control glucose levels and lose weight. Any suggestions?

For me I need to make the time and I know its hard I am on the go at weird HR and for long Hr at a time some times as long as 64 hr at a time and the one thing I know is that I need to make time to take care of me bar everything if I dont then I will not be 100% and that will cost me in the long run.
Make time you are so important to your kids and you witsh to be there when they need you.
I keep snacks on hand for them times when I am on the go this helps a lot and when I am able to eat I eat well not what is ez not what is fast but whats good for you .As well as your kids will eat well too.

ddr is right about the veggies and water. Something I have been doing and it has been working excellent is protein bars, Protein shakes, and Luna Bars. Along with almonds/sunflower seeds, sugar free jello, and Special K Whole Grain Crackers. I also like bringing string cheese or some cheese nibbles as well. By doing this, I have been having excellent success. I am also a very busy mom of three (2 with life threatening disease and oldest other issues), wife, and nursing student. It will do it to you but for me I found skipping/missing meals also raised my BG and slowed my metabolism. I even found a way to make time for the gym 3 days a week and walking/home fitness 2 days a week. Don't ask me how I do (LOL), because I ask myself that at times as well. Best of wishes to you!
I forgot to add, that I also like light yogurt and Propel/Crystal Light Fitness while I am on the go as well. Sorry!
