For anyone interested in getting a pedometer, now's your chance to get one for free while they last. These things are a great help and normally cost $12 - up. A nice reminder to get up and move. :)

Fill out the form and I'd suggest use a spam email, if you dont want to get their coupons and newsletters.

Thank you for the free pedometer information. I just signed up for one.
I walk 2 miles on an average of 4 times per week. Is that enough to start my exercise program?

Anything is a good start! But most importantly, how are you feeling? Walking weight loss guidelines now suggest 10,000 (women) to 12,000 (men) steps a day based on your gender. This is equal to 5 miles.

I have used a couple of different ones. My talking one was actually quite nice, but they kind of end up getting weird after a while. They are a great motivation to walk. I used to love to add that to my journal. I need to find one again, so thank you for the link.

I hope they are better than the chinese crap I bought on Ebay a few months ago. It was a talking pedometer. I could walk for 10 minutes and it would say, "you have burned 0 calories… you have walked 0 steps." I got so freaken (word for urination) that I threw it in the dumpster. Talk about motivation. It should have just said, "you have wasted ten dollars"
