well i went to the doctor today because I have been having headaches daily and they will not go away. My right arm has been going numb also. She wants me to get C.T. scan done but they have to wait on that till I get my blood work done. Because I am diabetic. Which I do not understand .What I am hemorraging from the brain or something, and they have to wait on my bloodwork! puzzling. So they took me off work for a week till I get my bloodwork and C.T done. doc said relax and dont do anything. I just want the headaches to go away. And my arm to come back to normal . Just weird!

Best wishes, that they figure it out for you. I have chronic pelvic pain & they've done 4 surgeries & I'm getting worse. My newest doctor said check for neuropathy. I had pain for 4 years & am diabetic for 1 year. so I don't get the connection but I'm getting checked for nerve damage. Do your best to keep your numbers under control. I pray it's just something simple

That's a very perplexing situation to be in! I hope that the CT comes out clean, and the bloodwork tells them you need more potassium or magnesium or who knows what they might be looking for!

In the meantime, if you like accupuncture, you can try rubbing the sort of tendon that is just behind the webbed part of your thumb joint. Friends who get headaches say it works wonders! Squeeze it with your fingers of the opposite hand. You'll feel a sensitive spot when you hit the right area. Just rub it gently for awhile and concentrate on relaxing your skull. Should work within a few minutes of the headache is connected to this nerve point.

Good luck!

I pray that the doctor will be able to help you with the headaches. Try a cold cloth on you forehead. It might give you some relief.

Scary stuff, but think of it like this…if the doctor thought you were hemorraging then she would have sent you straight to the ER. She must feel that waiting on the blood work must outweight whatever she thinks is going on.

Like May said get some rest, and try not to worry!!

Please let us all knwo what is going on so we dont worry!!!

Enjoy the vacation and try not to worry so much, try to get some rest and see what it does for your headaches.
