If you cannot remember the date, or the results of your last scheduled appointment with your doctor, it's time to schedule another one !

It may be time for one, or more of these very important test:

Contact your doctor, he or she just may remember you ! : )

I am scheduled to see my physician the third week in this month. My A1C in June was 7.68, so I am looking forward to that number being much lower.

Here's to a successful visit to your physician and a lower A1C than your previous one, just keep chipping away at it !

I need to call my Dr. this week. I have a month and 1/2 left of metformin. So he will probably want to do my A1c before I run out, as it will be 3 months since the last test. Plus there have been two surgeries since he last saw me. He has been in close contact with both surgeons. My GYN told me he sent his best wishes when he saw her during the day after she did my surgery and she updated him before I saw her that evening. My BP is lower and maybe some other things have changed as well since I saw him last.

That's great news (the communication between your doctors concerning you), keep lowering those numbers !

My doctors schedule my next appointment before I leave their office. Even my dentist does that to insure I stay up to date with everything. I really love my medical team and feel like they do have my best interest in heart.

Even your dentist is in on it, a true "Diabetes Dream Team."

I am very proud to say, i just had my 3 month work-up Friday and I see my Endocrinologist appointment this Friday. I am looking forward to seeing some improvements and more changes. I am all up to date and Endo doc does not deem it necessary for me to see neurology or a podiatrist. This is a very good point though. In order to maintain balance and being on the right track, One must try to keep up with our time tables for testing and medical follow-ups.

Great point(s)!!! I have a lab test coming up next weekend for my a1c test and other blood work. My appointment isn't until October unless they see something in the blood work to talk to me about. I agree though. It is very important to keep on top of the medical team for diabetes, heart, vision, feet/limbs, sleep disorders, etc. to prevent complications sooner. I am starting to think that I am buying my doctor a BMW with all of the co-pays but I am becoming and happier and healthier person from knowing instead of guessing what problem(s) I may have. Thumbs up for reminding us to take care of our minds, bodies and souls.

Just trying to help keep everyone on their toes and up to date concerning better health.
About that BMW, is it a 7-Series ?
