Does anyone else get sick and tired of having to think about food ALL the time?

I only think of food when I am hungry and when I am planning out my shopping trips. I suppose what helps me is that I eat constantly like 6-8 times a day so my numbers are steady and I get a lot of variety. If you open my fridge now (just shopped), you'll find a lot of "good" things to munch on in between the planned meals that we have. As a guy I think about sex way more often than about food. :)

Like Diane, if my week is planned out, I don't have such an issue and if I keep busy I am free from the "foodie" in me. The biggest problem is if I am planning something I really want, then it bugs me or if I have that craving for certain "off limit" foods like corn on the cob.

I have found that I don't think about food now that I have my menu planned out for the whole week. The only time it gets hard is when I am fighting a craving like right now I could seriously go for some mussels cooked in a butter wine sauce with some hot cornbread!

It is difficult for me at times. Especially when I am real stressed out or or the smells in the air near a good restaurant/bakery. I am beginning to learn some coping techniques to help me through this though.

If we don't think about it then we have high numbers, but if we think about it, then we tend to eat more, because it is always on our minds!!

Never ending, but I know I have become more adventurous in the kitchen because of it.

I totally agree Jeannie. Sometimes it can make a person crazy. What I've learned from Weight Watchers has helped at times.
