Type 1 Diabetics

Having a hard time since I am not working keeping my weight and blood sugars around 100. I have been a diabetic for 38 yrs and it seems to be harder controling your sugar levels not working. Gained wwight staying home with vision problems. Tring to eat veggies and fruit. Still not losing weight. Is frit fatting. Some fruits bring my bloos sugar up like cantalope. Just having a hard time dealing with not working and depressed.

Being home all the time does bring that giant issue of the frige to mind. It does kind of stink, too bad we cannot put a timer on it and it will allow us to open it only at certain times.

I work from home a lot and I understand your problem. One thing that helps me is to get involved in things. Pushing myself to reach a deadline or something like that. You can make one up for yourself. It doesn't have to be work. The thing is to keep my mind busy so my mouth is not being filled all the time. The worst thing I can do is watch TV. I try to only watch the news (I know, depressing) but I do try to limit it that way so I am not gettling lost in the mindlessness of TV.
