complications from having diabetus for years

I have been a diabetic for 38yrs. I just now having trouble with 6th nerve palsy in my left eye. Double vision.Nerve damage controls outer movement of eye. I work retail for five years now.I work different shifts.have two kids to take care of .Its hard to manage my blood sugar levels sometime.Any stories or advice.

The thing I can sey is to make time to take care of your blood susar you
have two kids banking on you being there.I know its hard but it dont take long for other problums to rise.
