I was reading this article on "Blood Sugar 101" site where the author sites good references. I tried to follow thru the actual research article but I had hard time understanding the medical terms. I have to read it a couple of more times to get it. After reading this I had two questions.

1> Isn't it true that if all the Beta cells die and I don't produce any insulin, I can still count on injected insulin to survive ?

2> If I have insulin resistance will that progressively deteriorate to a point where no amount of insulin (produced by body or injected) will bring the sugars down?

3> If 2> happens is there anything that can be done other waiting for the eventual death?
