I am trying to get a straight answer my doctor says that Insulin in the shot form doesnt have a steroid. But I have increased my work outs to 6 days a week walking 4 miles a day and have changed over to eating bocca burgers but I have this craving like I did when I was on Steroids for my breathing. Does anyone have the scoop on this…

There isn't any kind of steroids in insulin at all. There could be a couple of reasons for the feeling of hunger. This could be a indication of either high BG or it could be as much as a hormonal imbalance. This was recently suggested by professionals ans reserchers about a hormonal imbalance. If you think about it too, your hormones are a part of your metabolism just like other areas of our body.

I get cravings anytime I rein in my diet to cut down on bad stuff. If that's carbs, guess what? I crave crackers, cereal, bread, etc. Also, if your sugars are going too low, your body will kick into survival mode and start craving sugars to get them back up. With all that exercise, how have your bg's been?

Insulin doesn't have steroids in, the insert you get with it lists all the ingredients or you can find them on What sort of cravings are you having?
