G-d loves me deeply, so of course, I was born and raised in Oklahoma. The intervening years have been spent as a citizen of the world, and finally, I have come to New Mexico - which I fell in love with as a teen - for the rest of my life.
I'm from the U.S. Was born and raised in California. Moved to Oklahoma for 3 months, right before I turned 21. Came back to Cali. Then in my late 20's, met my hubby, and we moved back and forth between Cali and Arizona a couple times. We then went from Arizona to Indiana, and now I'm in New York! LOL True story!

Wow, that description triggered a lot of memories for me. That's the whole area my mother used to reminisce and tell me about as a child. She moved there as an adult, but always would talk about it with longing after she and my father moved to Southern California for his health. He lived another 36 years after being diagnosed with black spots on his lungs .. who knows what that was about, but the docs said to move to the desert.
