I'm so excited went to the doctors this afternoon and my A1C is 5.3. I guess the good way my husband cooks for us and the exercising have helped me to get this number. Now to keep this number from climbing up again. I'm in a powerchair and exercising is hard for me. So James bought me an power peddler. I can sit in my chair and have the peddler on the kitchen and exercise my arms like I'm riding a bike with my arms. It hasn't got easier but I try to do it once a day for 30 minutes. You woulod think with it being powered it would be so easy. But for me it is very hard on my arms because they are getting so weak. Now that I see how much exercising does for me I will try to do it everyday.

Exercise is just the best friend we have. Any kind of activity is a great help and that just proves it. Good job on the A1c, that is a great number to have. Keep on doing what works for you, and don't forget to share it with us.

That's GREAT!!! We have one of those arm/leg bicycle thingies and a real aerdyne bicycle. Start slow and work yourself up. It's not a competition. Work at your own pace!!!
