keeping your word

a while back i made a committement to lose some wait i started losing the weight and as soon as somthing bad happen to me i feel off the wagon you might sayi stayed off for about4 months tried on the close that i could get back into and could not. so what did i do but the worst thing i could i got a pepsi not a diet but a reagular one. it made me so sick i thught i was dehidrated all the symptoms of that i had well i went to see my aunt in va and she made me walk with her we drank nothing but water, i ate a lot of friut, breakfast lunch and dinner. i started to feel better then i could walk a little longer with out losing my breath. now she is my motavator. i read my bible everyday and i say aprayer to take the taste of soda out my mouth. people just because we are diabetics doesn't mean we can't have certain foods it means we can't eat a lot of it any more. shoot i even went to famous daves in va and i did what i suppose to i ate my veggies first then my meat by the time to eat the starch i was full. she was so proud of me she brought me two new outfit. look out world i'm back.

Hello Shorty31!
That is what happened to me! The water here where I live smells and tastes of chlorine! I drank a 2 liter of ginger ale and 2 quarts of Kool-Aide because I was dehydrated and of course depressed. You have given me a great deal of information on how to manage my plate of food. Thanks Be Blessed!

Way to go Shorty. The eating your veggies and meat first is a great idea. I will have to try that. So how do you like your new outfits?

I have never benn able to stick to just what I am supost to haveI like treets but I only have them from time to time I try to keep it to a min.
