Twitchy hips...

…and I don't mean dancing. Last night I had the worst bout with my neuropothy ever. I didn't sleep a wink, thank goodness today was a holiday.
My feet could not get warm and the gripping cold would aggrivate me. I rubbed, masaged, lotioned, tylenoled, and socked them with no comfort found. Then I found that one leg would involuntarily react and twitch. A spasam but not so severe, just a dull pull along my outside hip down to my calf. No cramps, just a slowmotion pulling. Do any of you experience this? What do you do to relive the annoyance? I finally fell asleep in time to wake up and feed the dogs…*sigh*

I get bioFreeze from the Ciropractor's office. That is the only place I have found it. Been using for over 2 years now. But I usually take a hot shower or soak in Epsom salts first before using it. I get woke up out of a sound sleep with my legs jerking really bad. It hurts like crazy.

Hi,Gabby! I get the same type of thing frequently and on both sides! :( Anyway, I use "Bio Freeze" roll-on. It's a topical arthritis type OTC product. I use it for fibromyalgia and neuropathy, as well. Really awesome product. Hope it helps! Blessings!

Thank you so much. I use Icy Hot. Is that similar? Where do you find Bio-Freeze? It is not familar to me.

Darn, girl. I thought you had started belly dancing. I don't have the neuro to the same degree you do, but my dad has terrible bouts of peripheral from a spinal surgery. Only pain medication helps him. I will look for the biofreeze. Hope you are better and got some sleep.

Bellydancing sounds like fun!

Have not seen you for a while, thanks for stopping in! Hope you are well.
Yes, I selpt finally last night and overslept for work today. Thankfully I'm more of a partner than an employee and working at home is fine, usually...LOL

Biofreeze is available from some chiropractors and some pharmacies. The company recently changed their distribution policy, so check our their website for your area. It's so much better than icy hot (which I used for years), but that gets so HOT and biogfeeze is cryotherapy and therefore goes on and stays COOL—a real blessing! It's helped me so much!

Thank you so much. I went to the site:
And called them directly. You can purchase from them or local medical professionals. So far I have not found one locally that sells it. They often have samples, but that is all.
So if anyone is interested, you can purchase from the site (via Phone) You have to by a two pack of a product for $15 (roll, spray or gel) and if you purchase 3 two packs (6 items) they will sell it for $14 each and not charge shipping. That is not too bad, you would get 18-24oz of the product for $42. Maybe that would last a while.
