I get the Diabetic Connect newsletter and today it is a really good one, chock full of great information on what carbs are, how to deal with them and also monitoring your levels and how to react to carbs by understanding your levels. It is a great newsletter and if you don't get them, you can sign up for them. They are free. It has all kinds of great tips listed that you can find in our "Living with Diabetes" section.

I found it to be a good article also. I am trying to maintain good blood glucose levels so it is really helpful to know why there is an emphasis on carbs. Does any one else when you're stressed just crave carbs like there is no tomorrow.

Yep....yep and yep. That is how I can tell I am stressing. Carbs are on my plate in too big of quantities...I just crave them and can't find anything else to satisfy me. What a mess don't you think?
