I have used them and they are easy and it matched very closely to my lab that I had done in the Doctor's office. I used one before I found a doctor to treat my diabetes.

I see the kits at Walmart all the time, I havent taken the time to really look into it but with the fluctuation of blood sugars etc I'd like to try and keep track myself as well as the dr…she doesnt always order an A1C but If they are acurate enough I may try them…Thanks for all the input! I appreciate it!

I used the one at Wal-Mart for about $10.00. It takes a large drop of blood. I wanted a copy of the results mailed to me. It took like 2 weeks to get them.

I tried the Bayer A1C Now Test kit. You get the results in just a few minutes. I didn’t think it was as accurate as the other tests.

My last lab test at the doctors was 5.6, the Wal-Mart test was 5.4 and the Bayer test was 5.8. I just felt from my blood sugar readings that it should have been closer to the 5.6 reading. Anyway if your that high .2 points is not much.

I got one more test with the Bayer meter and figure I’m going to use the Wal-Mart test kit after that. Only next time I figure I will get the results online and print a copy. 2 weeks is a long time to wait.

Good luck
