Do you have a sport you like to play? I recently picked up tennis again to instruct my children how to play, granted tennis can be high impact but instructing beginers is much lower but it's still a workout. My oldest and I have even added shooting hoops together because he liked that more that tennis. If you'd rather stay indoors I can suggest getting a excercise ball. They are one of the cheapest pieces of excercise equipment you can buy but very effective and fun. I use one on rainy days or if I just dont feel like hitting the gym, I even use it as a chiar as I am sitting at the computer, bouncing working my abs and thighs. They run between $12 - $25.

If you can run, then try wind sprints. The following is the routine I use. Walk at a good pace for 2 minutes, then run as fast as you can for 1 minute. Repeat this 4 times. It really helps control BG.

The amazing thing is that you don't really have to do it more than 4 times! It won't hurt you if you do, but you really don't have to. I only do it three times a week, and that is plenty.
