Workplace Junkfood

How do you all deal with workplace junkfood?
Here at my office it seems like a veritable restaurant, with the culprit mostly being sweets.
When they ask me if I want some cake, cookies or other food someone prepared, usually a polite 'no' is enough, although if they persist, i usually answer i'm diabetic and have to watch the sugar levels. You would think this would be enough, but NO, eventually someone says, 'oh come on, a little bit wont hurt you'.
So… how do you all deal with it?

i work at pizza hut and im always surrounded by temptation. and people bring in cake for every birthday as well. but thankfully we have a wonderful salad bar that i can pick off of, but as far as saying no, well i have a kind of abrasive personality sometimes and when i say no i say it hard. lol
but i bring my own sweets instead, like a small container of grapes or berries.

Give them a brief explanation of diabetic control, (No Means No) !
You are responsible for you, your eating doesn't raise their blood glucose level, if they can't understand it after that, it's because they choose not to !
