I realize this is an old discussion, but felt I had to jump in

I haven't been out in the sun since I was diagnosed roughly a month ago, but try to limit my sun exposure to no more than 1-2 hours and mostly in a swimming pool due to physical therapy needs…it's been raining alot this past month also…it's hurricane season! But I always use a sunblock too.

So I got my first and hopefully only sunburn of the season. Went to the lake with friends and family. I applying 70 spf to my 4 year old about 3 times, but did i remember to put any on…of course not. My hubby compared me to a Tomatoe…I compared him to things I cannot say on here…LOL…oh well hopefully the heat will go away soon!!!

You know, I researched sunburns and I didn't find anything on my go-to sites that talks about it. I have no idea, except that you are stressing your body with a burn.
I take a medicine that tells me I am not supposed to be in direct sunlight for prolonged exposures. I don't know what will happen if I do, but it is a warning on my prescription bottle.

Sorry about the sunburn hope it heals fast. Its always good when you can have a good time with the grand kids. Sounds like grandpa had lots of fun himself. No sunburn here either.

Don't know why or how it could affect BS. Maybe it is because of the stress to your system at the cell level. Or maybe it has caused a reaction similar to an infection. So far I haven't been out in the sun enough this Summer to try to get a sunburn.
