We will be leaving home around 5:30am to head to Duke. Its about 2 hours or so up there. (down there should i say lol) I am so nervous but so ready to find out what they can do to help my baby girl! Its been a long fight and a long wait and I am so praising God for this day to be here! Keep us in your prayers as we make this journey into a better future for my daughter and our family! Thank you to everyone who has been so kind and supportive of her and me!!

We will be praying for you both. I know how much you love her and how special she is to you. This will be a great day, no matter what happens because you have that special relationship with her. Try to make it fun too...a trip is always an adventure.

You, your little girl, and family will be in our thoughts and prayers. it is never easy to go through something like this. I am still doing battles of what is wrong with my younger two kids now. We have learned to try to keep our faith and communication with each other our feelings. Just make sure this, coming from one mom to another, you both are in control, do not be afraid to ask questions, and NEVER allow them to run you and your feelings/thoughts. Best wishes to you!

Maintain your faith and hold onto a firm, positive attitude.
Ask questions, questions, questions.
You can do your research when you return home.
Remember, that which hinders one, can be moved by many.
You and your family are in our prayers.
