I am sorry to hear of your losses and the painful experiences with diabetes. There's not much that I can say to help only to know that I (and many of us) understand what you're going through. It's important to try to control your numbers with diet, exercise and medication. This online support may also help you because we all need people to talk to, to motivate, to educate, and just to be "friends." Please let me know if there's anything that I can say or do to help you. We are like a little family here and we are all here to share in both your sorrow and joys with genuine concern, to teach you, to learn from you, and to love you. Whatever your native language, there should be sites that will let you communicate more fluently but whether you communicate in English or some other language, we have many things in common and it's important to communicate. You are among friends here regardless of age, gender, race, language, size, diabetes type, or whatever. Welcome to our family!

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and other family members to this awful disease. I hope that you have some support in RT but in the meantime you have us here at DC. Take gentle care of yourself!
