I don't have a diet per se but rather a few tips. The first is to make sure to eat breakfast. I am not talking about a buffet at Bob's Big Boy or anything but make sure to jump start your metabolism. I usually have an Atkins bar (yummy) and/or a yogurt (fat free). I do recommend eating less food but eating more often. Drink plenty of water. Try to exercise as much as you can (it doesn't have to be formal… touch your toes). Watch your carbs (sugar and starch), calories and also the fat contents. You can get a nutritional guide at the library and surely there are lots of them online. Take baby steps with dieting. Remember successful weight loss is done one pound at a time. Check out new recipes (here, at DLife, and through cookbooks from the library) and experiment. Don't be afraid to swap things you like. If I want a cinnamon roll, I'll have a cinnamon fat and sugar free pudding. Set goals and make them realistic. The "plate method" of eating is to fill your plate with 1/2 veggies, 1/4 lean meat, and 1/4 starch/carbs. Watch your starch/carb intakes though. Those are pretty much the tips off the top of my head and what's been successful for me. Everyone has their own "diets" and the best one for you is the one that works for you… with foods that your mouth and your body likes.

I am doing a spin off of the Special K Diet. During the week I follow a Special K Plan and then on the weekend, it is ALL low carb'd meals to take a break. I do allow myself to eat one special snack every other week but with a maximum carb. allowance of 40g totally. I hope this helps you out.
