Life is beautiful !

Taking care of myself to the best of my abilities has allowed me to witness things that I would not have been able to if I had not done so.

Watching my son graduate from high school a few days ago gave me such a feeling of pride and an ongoing commitment to continue to do what is both right and necessary for me in order to survive, living with diabetes.

Their mother passed away a few years ago, leaving a void in both their life and mine, only witnessing (1) one graduation.

In (3) three years, I have witnessed (3) of my sons graduations and am now awaiting the fourth and final one in a couple of years, hopefully I'll be around for the college graduations.

Take care of yourself so that you can see what you have started!

Yes, finishing is a great motivation. My project is much larger and rather political, so I won't get into it, but it is what keeps me going on, outside of family. I want to see it come to fruition, and it might take years. I have a lot to look forward to, and I want to share in the joys of my labor. I think that is how we all are.

The reason to do right by ourselves is all around us, all we have to do is to take a look.
