I have a question concerning my blood sugar level, I want to know if my blood sugar reading stays at 123,125,127 170,does that mean I have a normal reading and can get off insulin. I am type 2 diabetic

No. Normal blood sugar will rarely go above 100 ever regardless of what was eaten. There is a study that showed non-diabetics can go up to 140 but they had to give them massive amounts of IV glucose and the number came down within a few minutes of it peaking. Personally I would not stop taking insulin, in fact I would want to maybe do something Morton get those numbers down because they are still a title higher than you might want them.

Yes, always discuss your treatment/condition with your doctor before taking steps on your own. As Harlen says, it depends on what you're currently doing to have those numbers. At times people are able to control their Type 2 with diet and exercise. Doesn't necessarily mean you're no longer Type 2, just that you don't have a need for medication or insulin at that point. Good luck!
