Ive had Type II diabetes for over 10 years now.I have neuropathy in my feet, I take neurotin and it really makes a difference Last year my sugar got down to 43 and I ended up in the hospital. As much Mountain Dew that I drink you would think it would keep my sugar so high that it would never get that low. Anyway its nice to meet you all and my name is Melanie

Welcome to the site, Melanie! I used to be a coke addict (let me clarify Coca Cola) and I've switched over to Diet coke with lime and I've actually acquired a taste for it. I can't do it without the lime though unless I add my own lemon or lime or sugar free vanilla extract. I also like Fresca (they brought it back after a hiatus of many years), Arizona half and half, Kool Aid Fun Fizz and occasionally this stuff called water. It's really nice to have you on the site and to get the introduction. Please keep us in the loop on your progress and if there's anything I can do to help ya, just look me up. My name is Ray and I'm a Coke addict!!! :)

Hello there Melanie and welcome to our community. I am surprised about the Mountain Dew thing. That is LOADED with the sugar. Everyones bodies responds to foods differently. Wow!
