After viewing some of the most recent discussions it seems (to me) that some members feel as though they are being targeted or even worse, abandoned by their support system, members of the Diabetic Connect Family !

Please do not feel that way, we are all here to help one another and to be helped.

Diabetic depression is a side effect of the hormonal changes that are constantly occurring inside of our bodies due to uncontrolled glucose levels, it happens to each and every one of us from time to time.

Whenever you feel alone, depressed, angry or confused, let us know, communicate with us.
We cannot and do not replace, nor are we a replacement for professional medical help, but we are here 24\7\365 days of the year.

Just having someone to talk to can sometimes make a difference in the life of someone else.

FRIENDS are ALWAYS there, when YOU need THEM !

I feel like this site is my family. The people on here really understand what we go through on a daily basis , our other family members only get it to a certain point. I agree with you Mays and Gabby. I would be lost without this site.

As the Musketeer's would say, "One for all, and all for one."
(I wonder if any of them were diabetics?)

You are so right Mays and that is what keeps me coming back. My friends and family get my diabetes to a certain extent, but I know when I am here, everyone gets it. I love it here.

DC is a roundtable environment that allows for the pro's and con's of open discussions that are unbiased and freely given, accepted or rejected.
And that is simply beautiful, it reminds me of the ancient Greeks and the beginnings of organized democracy.
