I have been communicating frequently today with one of my friends, But we feel we have reached an impass. I am new this month to this site so I am trying to find my way around where I need to be in order to accomplish successfully what it is I'm trying to do.
Besides being new to the site I am learning things about the computer that I didn't know either. Maybe this will help me find a job. I have been looking for almost 2 years now, and I have yet to get even a nibble. I have been to less than 5 interviews in the 2 years. I am down to my last two weeks of benefits. God only knows what I will do when they are gone.
Back to my discussion. My friend told me I would have to go to the Discussion catagory to get an answer, so here I am. On my Profile tab I have a #1. I have clicked on evertything it would allow me to click on but I cannot find out how to delete whatever it is I am supposed to be tracking. It is an article response regarding MY FEET MY HANDS that I wrote, and also a print out of a reciepe that I submitted.
I like to delete articles after I have read then, unless they require an answer, My problem with these 2 is that I cannot find anywhere on this page to delete these articles. Can someone please help me get rid of them? I certainly don't remember tracking them, because I don't know how to track.
I was suggesting to my site friend that maybe you should have a novice standard of this site for new members, making sure they get exposed to all areas of the site before moving them up to full fledged members. (What do you think?)
Additionally I don't see an Edit button to make changes before you post your discussion. Also there are some arcicles on my personal page that the edit botton stays on. I thought maybe they didn't like what I wrote, or maybe I have typo errors that they want fixing before it posts. Is there a reason they stay on and what is the reason I cannot figure that one out?
Thanking you in advance of any help you can give me.

When you go to your profile page, look at the row of tabs just under your user name. Make sure the "Activity" tab is clicked. Now under the row of tabs, you'll see three options for filtering your activity feed. The one on the right is "Only Tracked Items." Click that one. You'll see an item highlighted that shows there's been some activity on the article you contributed to. If you want to see the new activity, click the title and it will take you to the article as well as clear the notification you're seeing on your profile page.

If you've already seen the new activity, you can put your mouse over the little magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the highlighted article. That will turn the magnifying glass into a little trash can. Clicking that will also clear the notification.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh, by the way, we allow editing of replies, but allowing editing of original posts can sometimes cause greater problems than it solves. So for now, we don't offer that option.
