I have type 2 diabetes and was active on this site for a while but I developed another problem It is Panic Attacks and they were so strong that my Doctors stopped all of my diabetes treatment I couldn't function to any schedule, as I would sleep up to 16 hours after an attack,I am still having the attacks but on a combination of drugs they are milder and now theywant me to start testing twice a day which I can do, but after monthes of not doing anything I feel as if I am starting all over again. i'm glad I got back on this site tohelp me develope a program right for me, Robert

Hi Robert! I have had panic attacks in the past and with meds, they got a lot better. I don't have to take any meds. now. Hang in there they will get better and maybe go away for good. Mine went bye bye, hopefully yours will to. Testing is a good place to start.

Welcome home! Glad to have you back. I am sorry that you have developed panic attacks, it seems there are several members who suffer them as well, so you will find support for them as well as your diabetes. Sometimes starting over is good, even for those of us who seem to keep it going. It gives us a chance to re-evaluate and move forward.

Welcome back, Robert.

Testing is definitely the right place to start. As you start to get a feel for what's going on with your blood sugars, you can certainly share that with us and we can give you ideas to help.

Glad to hear you're getting the panic attacks under control. Hang in there.
