Ya know… I learned a recipe back in the 70's from Weight Watchers that was good for diabetics.. It's sounds disgusting but with Nutrasweet and all that type of sugar substitutes it is alot better than it used to be with Sweet N' Low (which is putrid anyway *LOL*)

Take a piece of toast and smear it with cottage cheese and a mixture of sugar substitute and cinnonmon.. Trow it in a toaster oven or regular oven until the cottage cheese semi-melts.. Then enjoy…

I used to be a breakfast skipper until I realized what a huge difference it made in how the rest of my day goes and how I felt. Now I can't live without breakfast, I am a wreck without it. Breakfast and I have become best buddies. You know those people who say "Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee" ..that's me without breakfast. I love that they have greek style yogurt on the list, Thick and creamy half the sugar and twice the protein and 3 times as filling. Absolutely a delicious choice. I wouldn't go back to regular yogurt even if I wasn't diabetic.

Yeah, Greg, I know. I've never been a breakfast eater. My primary is always on my case about it, too, but old habits are mighty hard to break. It's just that I'm never hungry in the a.m. and never even think about food for maybe 2, 3 hours after I get up.

Emma… thanks for the link. This is one of the more popular questions that I see. Personally I was never a big breakfast lover but I realize how important it is to metabolism, glucose, brain activity, and such. My usual breakfasts are the Atkins bars and/or yogurt. I need to grab something quick so the more ideas I can get, the better. Thanks for sharing your experiences, resources and friendship with us.
